Harvesting of wheat starts

NILPHAMARI, Apr 4: Harvesting of wheat has been started and is progressing fast across Nilphamari district.
Sources said, this year's production of wheat is very satisfactory as the climate was favourable for its high production. Sahidul Islam, a wheat farmer of Gomnati UP of Domar upazila said, he cultivated wheat in one acre of land and in the meantime he harvested one bigha (30 decimal) of land and there the production was 20 maunds.
New wheat has already started to appear in the markets of the district and the price is hovering between Tk 900 to Tk 1000 per mound.
