Hasan Ali verdict Tuesday

The war crimes tribunal will deliver its verdict on ‘Razakar’ Md Syed Hasan Ali on Tuesday. Ali, tried in absentia, has been indicted for killing 24 persons and for abduction and torture of 12 other people at Kishoreganj during Bangladesh’s Liberation War in 1971. He is also charged with setting fire and looting 125 households. International Crimes Tribunal-2 chief Enayetur Rahim announced the verdict date on Monday. The verdict was awaited on April 20 after both sides concluded arguments, according to bdnews24.com.
