Hasina back home after 10-day visit to US, UK

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned to Dhaka this (Thursday) morning concluding her 10-day visit to the USA and the UK. Earlier, the Prime Minister arrived in Sylhet city from London by a VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines. From Sylhet, Sheikh Hasina arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) International Airport (HSIA) in the capital at 10:40am. The Deputy Leader of Parliament, Advisers to the Prime Minister and high civil and military officials received the Prime Minister at the Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) Int’l Airport. Before arriving at HSIA, the Biman flight landed at Sylhet Osmani International Airport from London’s Heathrow Airport at 9:00am. The Bangladesh High Commissioner to UK saw the Prime Minister off at Heathrow International Airport. Hasina left Dhaka for New York on September 21 to attend the 69th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). She addressed the UNGA on September 27, according to a news agency.
