Hasina hits poll campaign trail in Tungipara

TUNGIPARA, Dec 12 (UNB): Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina launched Wednesday her party's election campaign through addressing a public rally here.
She addressed the rally at Sheikh Lutfar Rahman Government Degree College ground at Kotalipara.
She started her journey by road around 8:22 am from her official residence Ganobhaban and arrived here at 2:10pm.
At first, she paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at his mausoleum by placing a wreath as the Prime Minister.
She placed another wreath at the mausoleum as the Awami League president.
On her way back to Dhaka on December 13, Sheikh Hasina will address a rally at Bhanga circle in Faridpur, Faridpur circle, Rajbari road circle, Manikganj bus stand, Rabeya Medical College and Hospital premises in Dhamrai and Savar bus stand.
