Hasina in Tungipara

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reached Tungipara in Gopalganj district to inaugurate several development projects and attend a rally. The helicopter carrying her touched down there just after 10:00am on Friday. She paid tributes to Bangladesh’s founder Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman soon afterwards. According to her press wing, Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate 7 projects including one that will give power connections to 10,000 families of Tungipara and Kotalipara, a 5MVA power sub-station in Tungipara, and several bridges. The prime minister is then scheduled to attend a rally in Tungipara before heading back to Dhaka, according to bdnews24.com.
