Hasina, Khaleda greet Modi

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia Friday greeted Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi as his party was heading for a landslide victory in the Indian national election ,reports UNB.
PM's special assistant Mahbubul Hoque Shakil said that the Prime Minister congratulated the Hindu nationalist leader as his party is set to return to power with a landslide victory.
BNP Vice-Chairman Shamser Mobin Chowdhry said that Khaleda Zia's message of greetings was sent to Modi through Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pankaj Saran.
Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad and Secretary General Ziauddin Bablu also greeted Narendra Modi and his party.
Both the leaders also greeted the people of India as they showed once again that they were unique and also dedicated to giving democracy an institutional shape, said a JP media release.
The leaders observed that the Indian people maintained continuity through playing their role in peaceful and democratic change of government in the just-concluded elections.
