Hasina leaves for Riyadh today

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina leaves for Riyadh today (Monday) on a five-day official visit when she will meet Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz al Saud and perform Umrah hajj at holy Makkah, reports UNB.
This will be Hasina's first trip abroad after assuming the office of Prime Minister on January 6. She will perform Umrah Hajj at Makkah and offer fateha at the holy Rouza Mubarak of Prophet Muhammad (SM) at Madinah during her stay in Saudi Arabia.
The Prime Minister's son, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, younger daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Sheikh Rehana, Foreign Minister Dipu Moni and State Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, and State Minister for Labour Munnujan Sufian are accompanying her on the trip.
Earlier, Hasina had to postpone her Saudi tour, scheduled for March 7, in view of the emergencies stemming from the bloody BDR mutiny at Peelkhana.
