Hasina-Modi meeting in the afternoon

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have a meeting this (Wednesday) afternoon in Kathmandu on the sideline of the 18th Saarc Summit. This will be their 2nd meeting with the 1st one being held in New York on September 26 when they attended the 68th UN General Assembly. According to the official schedule of PM Hasina, the meeting will be held at the Malshree Lobby Floor of the Crown Plaza Kathmandu – Soaltee – at 3:15pm (Nepal time). Besides, PM Hasina will have a meeting with her Nepalese counterpart Sushil Koirala at her place of residence. She will also have meetings with Afghan President Dr Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai and Maldives President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom. In the evening, she will attend a banquet to be hosted by the Nepal’s Prime Minister Sushil Koirala in honour of heads of state and government and their spouses. It will be preceded by a cultural programme, according to a news agency.
