Hasina pays homage to Indian leaders

NEW DELHI, Jan 12 (UNB): Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina paid homage Tuesday to Indian leaders Jawaharlal Neheru, Indira Gandhi and her son Rajiv Gandhi who ruled India as prime ministers after the partition of the Sub-continent in 1947.
The Bangladesh PM first went to Shanti Vaan and paid floral tributes to Jawaharlal Neheru at about 10am (local time). She stood in solemn silence for a while paying respect to the great leader.
Later, the PM went to Shakti Sthall to pay homage to slain Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and Virbum to pay tributes to slain Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
