Hasina, Putin for stronger ties

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed hope that the socioeconomic relations between Bangladesh and Russia would get strengthened further in the days to come. Both leaders expressed the high hopes while having talks during a gala dinner hosted by Italian President Giorgio Nepolitano at Sala Delle Cariatidi at Milan, Italy Thursday evening (local time). Leaders of the ASEM member countries joined the dinner, according to a message received in the city. — UNB
