Hasina reaches Malaysia

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in Malaysia on Tuesday afternoon on the 3-day tour to strengthen ties and address key issues of manpower export and trade. A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage landed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 3:55pm after leaving Dhaka at 10:15am. It is her 1st visit to the Southeast Asian country during her 2nd consecutive term in power, which follows an official invitation by Malaysia’s Prime Minister Najib Razak a year ago. She was given a guard of honour and escorted to the Hotel Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur where she will be staying, according to private TV channels.
