Thursday, 27 November 2014

Bangladesh’s premier Sheikh Hasina stayed off from joining other South Asian leader in the Saarc retreat in Dhulikhel, 30 kilometres from Kathmandu, on Thursday. A member of the Prime Minister’s entourage said that she slipped the retreat in the morning as she caught cold. ‘Though she (Hasina) skipped the retreat, she joined the concluding session of the 18th Saarc Summit which was held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm (Nepal standard time) in the Nepalese capital,’ he said. On Wednesday the Bangladesh PM addressed the inaugural session of the 2-day Summit. Hasina is scheduled to return home around 10:30am on Friday, according to a news agency.
