Detained former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had high blood pressure in jail Monday morning and recovered after a while, reports UNB.
Inspector General (IG) (Prisons) Brigadier Gen Zakir Hossain said as Sheikh Hasina fell sick, the jail authorities called in the head of Medicine Department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Dr Abul Kashem and the head of Cardiology Department Dr Lutfur Rahman for her checkup.
But, he said, Hasina refused to receive treatment from the doctors of DMCH.
