Hasina's deadline to submit wealth info remains Aug 8

Tuesday, 7 August 2007

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) will accept any verdict of the High Court on the notice issued to former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for submitting her wealth statement, but her deadline remains August 08 (Wednesday) as the court did not pass any order yet, reports UNB.
"We'll wait for the court verdict…We'll accept what the court will say," ACC secretary Mokhles ur Rahman said in the Commission's regular briefing while replying to a query about the writ petition Awami League President Sheikh Hasina filed questioning the legality of the notice.
Asked if the deadline still remains August 8 for her to submit the wealth statement, he said that as the court did not give the Commission any order yet the deadline remains the same.
