Hats off to Osman Gani Talukdar

Osman Gani Talukdar, the chairman of the Louhajang upazila parishad, has been reelected as he had kept his promises to his constituents. Five years ago, he had pledged not to enjoy any government facilities if he was elected. The people elected him and he kept his promises, which is rare in our politics. We are used to seeing our leaders' verbose promises which they could not keep. Hats off to Osman who has brought a much needed positive vibe in our political arena.
I am sure he will inspire other good, honest and capable people to join politics so that they can work towards the betterment of people. If we make our society better, we along with our next generation will benefit at the end. I am sure politicians like Osman will revive the people's faith in the public representatives and will encourage the young blood with the mindset of serving people by joining politics. The present pathetic situation of our politics will soon change as the leaders like Osman will send bad people out of politics. I heartily congratulate the people of the Louhajang upazila for choosing a good, honest leader like Osman and showing their sagacity.
