A hawker was slaughtered at Kadamtoli in the city Thursday noon.
The deceased was identified as Rony, 18, who used to sell artificial flowers, trees and other plastic items on the city streets. He hailed from Sikderkandi of Zazira in Shariatpur. Police said the incident took place at New WASA Road in the area at about 12:00 noon.
