HC asks IFIC to give Moudud his account info

The High Court (HC) Tuesday asked the IFIC Bank to provide former law minister Moudud Ahmed with the statement of his bank account, including FDR, within five working days. A vacation bench of the High Court, responding to a petition filed by detained Moudud, passed the order. Since his arrest on April 13, Moudud has been requesting the banks he maintains accounts to provide him with statements of his accounts so that he could meet the requirements of the NBR, Mahbubuddin Khokan, a counsel for Moudud, said. —UNB
