HC Circuit Bench in Ctg not yet: CJ

CHITTAGONG, Sept 4 (BSS): Chief Justice (CJ) Surendra Kumar Sinha said on Friday decision to establish a Circuit Bench of the High Court (HC) in Chittagong will not be taken now.
"The issue of Circuit Bench is not a matter of taking immediate decision. The matters of prestige of the judges, constitutional regulations and case numbers should be considered before taking this decision", the CJ said adding that the decision would be taken later after considering all factors relating to it.
He came up with the comments while exchanging views with the leaders of 'Circuit Bench Implementation Council (CBIC)' at Chittagong Circuit House.
