HC declares illegal provision clipping ACC wings

The High Court has declared illegal and unconstitutional the provision that clipped the wings of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) regarding filing of graft cases against government employees, particularly govt officials. Sources at the High Court said the higher court passed the order on Thursday afternoon curtailing the power of the graft watchdog to sue the officials of the state, according to a news agency.
