HC for removing 2 facebook pages for insulting Islam

The High Court on Tuesday asked the concerned authorities to close down two facebook pages which were circulating contents insulting Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PUBH), within thirty days.
A High Court division bench comprising Justice Naima Haider and Justice Mustafa Zaman Islam passed the order after holding hearing on a writ petition filed in this regard, a BSS report said.
The court also issued a rule for closing down two websites for the same reason and asked Inspector General of Police, Director General of RAB, chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), Dhaka deputy commissioner, superintendent of police, DMP commissioner, and officer-in-charge of Shahjahanpur police station to respond within next four weeks.
