Headmaster killed in Kushtia road accident

The headmaster of a high school was killed as a human hauler ran over him in Maligram area of Khoksha upazila of Kushtia district early Thursday. The deceased was identified as Mahbubul Alam, 50, a resident of Chak Haripur village of the upazila and the headmaster of Kolimohor High School. Kazi Daud Hossain, officer-in-charge of Khoksa Police Station, said the accident took place in the area around 12:30am, while he was returning home from Pangsha, leaving him critically injured. Later he was rushed to Kushtia General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 3:30am, according to a news agency.
