Health benefits of gardening

Gardening has a number of advantages. But the one we often miss out is that it can actually benefit our mental health, especially if this garden is something we have nurtured ourselves. According to a new study, gardening has therapeutic benefits, too. Harvesting the fruits of one's labour boosts dopamine in the brain, creating a sense of pleasure. It is also suggested that coming into contact with soil can also help us gain mental peace.
But the question that needs to be asked here is whether we can have a garden of our own in the concrete jungle of city life. Yes, we can because it can be a rooftop or balcony garden.
