Health Minister urges scientists to help build Smart Bangladesh

Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Samantal Lal Sen urged on Friday the country's scientists to help build a 'Smart Bangladesh'.
"There is no alternative to the progress of science. The government has given priority to scientific research so that the scientists could help build a Smart Bangladesh," he said.
Dr Samanta Lal spoke while inaugurating a three-day International Scientific Conference (Congress)-2023, organised by Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR) at its Dhanmondi campus in the capital.
The conference is being organised to mark the Golden Jubilee of BCSIR and keep the country's scientific progress ahead.
"The conference will increase knowledge sharing between the scientists and researchers and build bridges among the various countries' research organizations," the health minister also said.
Science and Technology Minister Architect Yeafesh Osman was present as the chief patron at the event.
He urged the all the scientists, researchers and inventors of BCSIR to use their merits for the welfare of the country's people and move the country forward.
The Chairman of BCSIR Dr Md Aftab Ali Sheikh presided over the event.
