Health system digitized in Habiganj

HABIGANJ, Nov 9: Information of health and all communications has been digitlized in Habiganj district. From now on message information will be exchanged in a short time by mobile phone.
The government has taken a pilot project assisted by some foreign agencies for this and Habiganj has been selected for the project as the only district of the country.
A team has visited Habiganj Sadar Adunik hospital, Madabpur Upazila Health Complex and two community clinics for feasibility study recently. The department of the Health, Oslo University (Norway) and Grameen phone has jointly taken the project.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, mother and child health will be increased through mobile phone information exchange system.
