Hearing on cancellation of Koko's parole may take place any day

The hearing on the rule over the impugned government action cancelling parole of Arafat Rahman Koko, who is now in Bangkok for treatment, may take place in the High Court (HC) any day, as it appeared on the cause list Tuesday for disposal, reports UNB.
The Appellate Division of the SC directed both the parties to get the pending HC rule heard in the matter Monday.
Meanwhile, an HC division bench, headed by Justice MA Wahhab Miah, upon a petition Tuesday, extended its stay on the operation of the government order that had cancelled parole of Koko until disposal of the rule.
