Hearing on charge framing on Mar 18

A Dhaka court fixed on Sunday March 18 for starting the hearing on charge framing against eight accused in the blogger Rajib murder case, reports UNB.
After hearing arguments from both the defence and prosecution, Judge of the 4th Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court Mohammad Ruhul Amin passed the order.
The accused are Shaikhul Hadith Mufti Jasimuddin Rahmani, chief of Ansarullah Bangla Team, former students of North South University Faisal Bin Nayeem alias Dwip, Maksudul Hasan alias Anik, Mohammad Ehsan Reza alias Rumman, Nayeem Sikder alias Irad, Nafiz Imtiaz, Sadman Yasir Mahmud and Redwanul Azad alias Rana.
Among the accused, Redawanul Azad Rana is still on the run.
On February 15, 2014, Ahmed Rajib Haidar, was found stabbed dead near his house at Palash Nagar in the city's Mirpur area.
Nibaran Chandra Barman, a DB (detective branch) inspector, submitted chargesheet against eight people on January 29, 2014.
