Hearing on mutual fund case Aug 19

The High Court (HC) has set August 19 as the date for hearing on the mutual fund case, which was scheduled to take place Wednesday. The court, earlier, had adjourned the hearing twice. The investors filed a writ petition against the changes made by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) a year ago in the mutual fund rules, restricting fund managers from issuing rights or bonus shares. — FE Report
