Hearing on review plea on May 28

The Supreme Court (SC) set May 28 for hearing a plea seeking review of the judgment on provisions of allowing anticipatory bail given by the Appellate Division (AD), reports BSS.
Chamber Judge Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain on Thursday sent the petition, filed by
Barrister AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon, to regular bench of the AD for hearing.
The AD cancelled anticipatory bail of BNP leader Dr Khandker Mosharraf Hossain and issued seven-point directive to this end on March 20, 2014.
According to the petitioner, acting in line with that direction, the HighCourt since then has rejected most of the pleas seeking anticipatory bail.
