Hearing on supp charge sheet tomorrow

KHULNA, Aug 2 (UNB): A local court will hear Monday the supplementary charge sheet in the sensational Jubo League leader Bithar murder case.
The hearing will be held at the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate M Zakaria Hossain, said court sources.
On Thursday, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of police submitted the supplementary charge sheet to the court.
Those who were named as accused in the supplementary charge sheet are convener of Khulna city unit Jubo League Advocate Sarder Anisur Rahman Poplu, Iqram Hossain alias Siam alias Akash, Sumon Hossain Raju, Imamul Kabir Jibon, Liaqat Ali Shikder, M Moniruzzaman Masud alias Tota Masud.
Though general secretary of Khulna city unit Awami League Mizanur Rahman Mizan, MP, and Cooperatives Affairs Secretary of Jubo League central committee SM Mesbah Hossain Buruj were charge-sheeted, their acquittal was kept on the court's consideration.
Meanwhile, Prof Runu Reza, wife of slain Shaheed Iqbal Bithar, has raised question over the supplementary charge-sheet.
She said, "Of the two charge-sheets submitted by DB (Detective Branch) of Police and CID, which one is right? We didn't mention any accused. Many questions have arisen as the two charge-sheets are quite different."
Bithar, vice-president of Jubo League central committee and also a councillor of Khulna City Corporation, was shot to death by criminals in the city on July 11, 2011.
The following day, SM Rafiur Rahman, elder brother of Bithar wife's Runu Reza, lodged a murder case against some unidentified people.
