Heat wave sweeping some dists

Rain/thunder showers is likely to occur at one or two places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours until 06:00 pm today (Thursday)), according to the Met Office.

The highest temperature in the country on Wednesday was recorded at 40 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur of Rangpur while the lowest temperature at 23.3 degrees Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 37.8 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 29 degrees.
