Heavy rush to warm clothes markets in Tangail

TANGAIL, Nov 25: People of the villages and towns are rushing to warm clothes markets everyday in different areas as the temperature is falling gradually in the district.
Normally winter comes to the area in middle of November or early December every year. The people of the district have begun to feel the intensity of cold from the second week of November this year.
Makeshift shops have mushroomed on the footpaths at district gate area, in front of Bara Kali Bari gate, New Market area, old bus stand mosque gate etc.
Fixed income people are crowding footpath shops to buy second-hand clothes.
Abdul Hai a shop keeper of Hira supermarket told the FE that demand for second hand warm clothes is much more than new winter clothes.
