Helal, Emdad panel sweeps Muktijoddha Sangsad poll

The panel of Maj Gen (retd) Helal Morshed, Bir Bikram, and Emdad Hossain Matin won all 41 posts in the Muktijoddha Command Council election-2014, held Wednesday, reports BSS.
This was disclosed in a result sheet signed by returning officer Akram Hossain in the city Thursday.
Maj Gen (retd) Helal Morshed, Bir Pratik, was elected President while Emdad Hossain Matin secretary-general (Admin).
Wahidur Rahman, Ismat Kadir Gama, Col (retd) Mahmudul Huq, Md Salahuddin, Dr Md Abdus Salam Khan and SM Mortuza Hossain were elected vice presidents.
