Hero Alam files defamation suit against Rizvi

Content Creator Ashraful Alam, popularly known as Hero Alam, has filed a defamation case against BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, demanding Tk 5.0 million for his alleged offensive statements, reports BSS.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saiful Islam accepted the statement of the plaintiff and ordered the Metropolitan Detective Police to submit a report after investigating the allegations.
According to the complaint, on July 18, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made a derogatory remark on the educational qualification of the plaintiff, while speaking at a programme at Bhuban Mohan Shaheed Minar Park in Rajshahi city.
