Heroin recovered: 1 held

Police recovered about one kilogram of heroin at Fajilpur in Godagari upazila in Rajshahi on Saturday. The law enforcers also arrested an alleged drug trader. The arrestee was identified as Ripon Ali, 30, son of Abdul Quddus of Godagari municipality area. Godagari model thana officer-in-charge Abu Mokaddem Ali said acting on secret information, a police team waylaid him in the area and seized 950 grams of heroin worth Tk 1 million after searching his body. A case was field under Narcotics Control Act, according to UNB.
