High school student found dead

A high school student was found dead in his residence in Shamshernagar area under Kamalgannj Upazila in Sunamganj district on Friday. The deceased was identified as Shahriar Hossain Sajib, 14, son of Bangladesh Air Force Official Sohel Rana of Shyampur village of Sirajganj district. Police and locals said Shahriar, a Class-VIII student of Shamshernagar BSF Shahin College, along with his parents used to live at the BAF quarters in Shamshernagar of Sunamganj. Quoting family members, sub-inspector Matiur Rahman of Shamshernagar police camp said they found Shahriar hanging from a ceiling fan in his room in the morning. The reason behind the incident could not be known yet, according to a news agency.
