Highest tax payers awarded in Satkhira

KHULNA, Oct 27: Five highest tax payers of Satkhira district were given reception Monday under the auspices of Satkhira Chamber of Commerce and Industries (SCCI). The reception was held at Satkhira Chamber Building. Deputy Commissioner Md Abdus Samad addressed it as the chief guest.
The function was presided over by SCCI president Al Haj Mohammad Din Ali and addressed, among others, by Chairman Sadar Upazila Parishad and General Secretary of District Awamil League Nazrul Islam, Deputy Commissioner Tax Rakibur Rahman, former SCCI president MA Jalil and Ajahar Hossain.
Khondoker Ali Hyder and Abbas Ali of Amtala area of Satkhira town, Golam Rabbani, Ansar Ali and Razzak Gain of Kaloroa were awarded as highest tax payers for 2009-2010.
