HIL organises its 29th AGM

The 29th annual general meeting (AGM) of Hotels International Limited (HIL) was held at a city hotel recently, said a press release.
HIL Chairman Shaikh Altaf Ali presided over the meeting. The company made a net profit of Tk. 135.60 million (13.56 crore) before tax in the year ended 31 December 2006.
The company approved bonus share of 10 per cent. The company paid an amount of Tk. 282.2 million (28.22 crore) to the government exchequer in the form of VAT, CDST, income tax and other fiscal levies during the year 2006.
