Hili Land Port trade closed for five days

RANGPUR, Sept 23 (BSS) :  The import and export activities will remain suspended for five days from Wednesday (today) through Hili Land Port (HLP) under Hakimpur upazila in Dinajpur on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, official sources said.
According to the sources of customs, importers, clearing and forwarding agents association (C&FAA) at HLP, all sorts of import-export activities will remain suspended through the land port from September 23 to 27.
Talking to the news agency, General Secretary of C&FAA of HLP Abdur Rahman Litan said the imports, exports, customs clearance, loading and unloading of the goods will resume through the land port from September 28.
Movement of the passport and visa holder citizens will remain normal through the Immigration Check Post (ICP) at  the port during the period despite the closure of import and export activities there, Officer-in-Charge Rafikuzzaman of the ICP said.
UNB adds: All export and import activities through Sonamasjid land port will remain closed for five days from Wednesday (today) on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. The activities at the port will resume on September 28.
