Hill slide kills 3 of a family

Three persons of a family including an eight-month-old baby died after a huge chunk of earth from a hill fell on their house at Moulvibazar. The incident took place at the south Shahbazpur tea garden at Barhalekha Upazila on Saturday, said Barhalekha Police Station OC Akbar Hossain. The victims were identified as Rajesh, 35, his wife Manju, 25 and their daughter Seema. Rajesh and Manju were tea garden labourers. A chunk of earth fell on their house from the hill after heavy rainfall. The three members of the family were buried inside the house, the OC said, according to bdnews24.com.
