Hindu house torched in Faridpur, idols vandalised in Manikganj

In separate incidents, miscreants torched a Hindu house in Faridpur and vandalised three idols in Manikganj early Sunday.In Faridpur, an empty Hindu house was set alight at Madandia village in Sadar upazila of the district in the early hours.
Locals said a group of miscreants set the house of Shailesh Ghosh by pouring petrol after 12am, according to a news agency.
 In Manikganj, miscreants vandalised three idols of Kali goddess at a temple at Majhipara in Singair upazila.The custodian of the temple said unidentified miscreants swooped on the Kali Temple sometime after midnight and damaged the three idols.
