HK-based co to be listed with DSE

A Hong Kong based IT and mobile phone products distributor company --SiS International Holdings Limited (SIHL) -- is going to be listed with the country's stock markets, officials said.
The optimism about the listing of the SIHL comes after the top authorities of the company Sunday held a meeting with the policy makers of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
SIHL was founded in 1983 and is listed on the main board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong in 1992. The company is one of the largest distributors for IT and mobile phones products in Asia.
The company's headquarter is in Hong Kong and the distribution channels are in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines.
The officials of LankaBangla Finance, the issue manager of SIHL, said the company will offload the shares of company's Singapore's part in the stock markets of Bangladesh.
A top SEC official told the FE that the company's authorities have showed their interest in offloading its shares considering the viable situation of the market.
