HK shares open higher

Hong Kong shares opened 0.15 per cent higher on Wednesday as investors shrugged off a weak lead from the US and European markets. The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 36.83 points to 24,726.24 in the first few minutes of trade, according to AFP.
