HK shares open lower

Hong Kong stocks opened 0.80 per cent lower on Thursday following a sell-off on Wall Street that broke a recent run of records for the Dow. The benchmark Hang Seng Index slipped 186.32 points to 23,070.97 in the first few minutes, according to AFP.
