Holcim organises first dealers' meet at Guwahati

Holcim (Bangladesh) Ltd has recently organised its first dealers' meet at Guwahati in Assam.
Koshangee and Associates, a newly appointed Holcim dealer at Guwahati, organised the event attended by about 150 dealers, retailers, engineers and other construction professionals.
Regional Sales Head (East) of ACC Cement Ltd, India VK Agnihotri was present in the event as the chief guest. Holcim Bangladesh GM (Customer Care) Niaz Uddin Mahmood and ACC Ltd Sales Unit Head RN Sinha attended the meet as the guest of honour and the special guest respectively.
High officials of Holcim Bangladesh along with journalists and elite of Guwahati were also present on the occasion.
Holcim is the country's first cement company that has achieved BIS (Bureau of Indian Standard) certificate for cement export to India in 2004. Since then it has been successfully exporting cement to Tripura. After Tripura, Holcim is now exporting cement to Guwahati by river route.
With the initiatives the north-eastern part of India have been able to use fresh, high quality and affordable cement from Bangladesh.
