Hold AL national council on time: Hasina to party leaders

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Friday instructed her party leaders to hold its national council on time and prepare a draft on the overall activities to this end. The Awami League chief came up with the instruction during her first visit to her Dhanmondi political office since assuming office through the January-5 polls. Sheikh Hasina arrived at the office around 4:30 pm and held discussions with leaders of the party on various matters relating to organisational activities for more than an hour, according to a news agency.
