Hold election to fulfil promises: B Chy

Bikalpa Dhara President Badruddhoza Chowdhury said on Friday the government had made a commitment to hold a fresh and inclusive parliamentary polls after the January 5 elections and should live up to it without delay, reports UNB.
He said this while addressing an iftar party organised by Bikalpa Swechchhashebak Dhara at Dhaka Reporters Unity.
The former President also noted that only fair parliamentary polls can restore democracy in the country.
Bikalpa Dhara leaders Engr Muhammad Yusif, Shah Ahmed Badal, BM Nizam and Rafiqul Islam also spoke on the occasion.
