Holiday declared for Magura-1 by-poll on May 30

The government has declared general holiday in Magura-1 constituency on the by-poll day on May 30, reports BSS.
The by-poll of the 10th Jatiya Sangsad's vacant seat would be held on May 30.
An official handout said on Monday the day will be a general holiday for all government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices, and government and non-government educational institutions in Magura-1 constituency so that officials and employees of the area could exercise their voting rights.
However, if there is any public examination on that day, the holiday will not be applicable for the examination centres and the teachers and staffs of the area concerned.
