Homecoming day of Bangabandhu observed

KHULNA, Jan 10: The home coming day of father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibor Rahman was observed here by Awami League and its front organizations and various other socio-culture organizations.
The day's programme was inaugurated by hoisting national flag and party flag at the central office in Khulna Tuesday morning. Floral wreaths were placed at the Bangobandhu portrait.
Later a discussion meeting was held at the office of Awami League presided over by the president of Khulna district Awami League and District Administrator Sheikh Harun-ur-Rashid.
The meeting was addressed among others by the KCC Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque as the chief guest, District Awami League Secretary and former whip SM Mostafa Rashidi Suja and General Secretary of City Awami League Al-Haj Mizanur Rahman Mizan.
On the occasion of the day Bangobandhu Ainjibi Parishad also arranged a discussion meeting at conference room of the Ainjibi Samity.
Speakers in the meeting termed the home-coming of Bangobandhu Sheikh Muzibur Rahman as a red letter day in the history of Bangladesh.
