Hong Kong shares open higher

The share prices in Hong Kong’s stock exchange opened up 0.45 per cent on Monday, taking a positive lead from Wall Street which hit a fresh closing high in the previous session. The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 98.37 points to 21,961.36 in the first few minutes of trade, according to AFP.
