Hong Kong stocks higher

Hong Kong stocks rose 0.32 per cent on Tuesday morning, after a positive lead from Wall Street and in anticipation of the release of HSBC's July index of manufacturing activity in China. The benchmark Hang Seng Index climbed 79.03 points to 24,679.11 in the first few minutes of today’s session, according to AFP.
